God's Little Devotional Book for Couples, by David C. Cook. 1995.
There is
perhaps no greater joy than sharing "moments of the soul" with a spouse--reading a passage from the Scriptures together or reading to each other words of inspiration that can brighten a day, give encouragement and cause a smile or tug at the heart. We encourage you to read these devotionals together as a couple. Perhaps one a day. Perhaps several at a time. Take turns reading to each other. Talk about what was said, if you desire, or let the words speak for themselves.Take joy in your
relationship. Marriage is a relationship of highest value. Keep yours strong, alive and fresh. Above all, we encourage you to spend some time in prayer together on a daily basis. It is in prayer that hearts are truly knit together as one.

Saint of the Week
St. Margaret of Scotland: (1046-93): November 16.
Daughter of
one of the last Anglo-Saxon princes, Edward the Atheling (+1057), she was born in 1046 and educated in exile in Hungary during the Danish rule in England. She married Malcolm III of Scotland in 1069, and proved a vital force for good in both the Scottish court and church.
She revived the abbey of Iona, and made Dunfermline Abbey the Scottish equivalent of Westminster, a burial-place for the Scottish royal family. Receiving of Holy Communion, then a rare practice, was encouraged; Sunday work was discouraged. She was cultured, here influencing her somewhat rough-natured husband, pious and generous to the poor. Her husband was killed in battle against William II of England; two of her own sons, Alexander and David,
became kings of Scotland.
She died in 1093, was buried at Dunfermline and canonised in 1249. At the Reformation, her body with that of her husband was taken to the Spanish monastery of the Escorial, north of Madrid, and enshrined
there.

There was a man walking alone along a beach. He comes across a bottle with a cork in it. The man picks up the bottle and pulls out the cork. A loud roar follows and a genie
appears. The genie says to the man, "I'm a little tired today and I can only give you two wishes."
The man says "That's OK, two is enough." "First, I would like one-billion dollars in a Swiss bank account." Poof - The genie hands the man a paper and says "Here's the number to your account."
Next the man says, "Second, I would like to be irresistible to women."
Poof - the genie turned him into a box of chocolates.
