There are so many different ways of being healed.
The best way, and by far the commonest, is to be loved. To be loved by God, and to know it and live it, is to be healed indeed. The Good News first of all is that you and I are accepted and loved by God. From all eternity you and I have been in the mind of God. God’s love for us is utterly reliable and has no conditions whatsoever. - Cyril Brooks Take some time in silence to simply be aware that you are loved by God. . . to let God love you. _____________________ Annual Appeal Greetings Daily Spiritual Seed Subscribers, This year I will be publishing the same appeal message each day this week to insure that everyone is made aware of the following information: - After over 28 years of ministry at Heartland Center for Spirituality, I will be retiring effective December 31, 2025. Wisdom 7:22b–8:1 Psalm 119:89, 90, 91, 130, 135, 175 Luke 17:20-25 Asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was to come, Jesus
gave them this answer, ‘The coming of the kingdom of God does not admit of observation and there will be no one to say, “Look here! Look there!” For, you must know, the kingdom of God is among you.’ He said to the disciples, ‘A time will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man and will not see it. They will say to you, “Look there!” or, “Look here!” Make no move; do not set off in pursuit; for as the lightning flashing from
one part of heaven lights up the other, so will be the Son of Man when his day comes. But first he must suffer grievously and be rejected by this generation.’
Reflection on the Scriptures
Jesus clearly did not leave us here alone to wait for the Kingdom of God to come. To be sure, there is more to come, but Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of God is also already with us, in every age. Faith calls
me to demonstrate that certainty, to learn the Lord’s statutes and ordinances so that the revelation of the Lord’s words shed light through my life in ways that others can understand. Maybe that is why I chose to be a teacher, but I don’t think we have to be teachers to demonstrate how the Lord’s ordinances and revelation of the Lord’s words help us live out our faith. When we bear fruit in this way, we shed light on the truth of the Lord’s presence in our lives for others to see. This is how we
can bear abundant fruits of our faith and can perpetuate the word of the Lord for the next age. Living in the Kingdom that is already with and within us is how we can best serve and praise God. -by Barbara Dilly

ONE: Thoughts Helpful in the Life of a Soul
The Eighth Chapter: Shunning Over-familiarity DO NOT open your heart to everyone, but discuss your affairs with one who is wise and who fears God. . . Do not fawn upon the rich, and do not be fond of mingling with the great. Associate with the humble and the simple, with the devout and virtuous, and with them speak of edifying things. . . Seek only the intimacy of God and of His angels, and avoid the notice of others. We ought to have charity for all people but familiarity with all is not expedient. Sometimes it happens that a person enjoys a good reputation among those who do not know him, but at the same time is held in slight regard by those who do. Frequently we think we are pleasing others by our presence and we begin rather to displease them by the faults they find in
us.
